Wikipedia FlatPress Article

avatar_000029.jpg

I noticed there was no Wikipedia article for FlatPress. Therefore, after getting NoWhereMan’s permission, I created one. It is short and simple with the possibility of some mistakes. Currently, it is lacking some references that appear in reliable third-party publications. These are needed to validate the article and prevent possible future deletion. If anyone knows of any references, please let me know so I can add them to the article.

You are welcome to update the article if you want. Otherwise, I will update it if you provide me the changes.

The first two references have a “|” appended at the links.

Thanks for pointing out those issues. I believe they have been fixed because I do not see them.

I could also use some help on the article because it has been flagged for deletion because of the following reasons.

    1) Lack of 3rd party references
    2) Reliable sources
    3) Sounds like spam
    4) Is written by only one user.

I am trying to resolve these issues.

Are there any additional 3rd party resources I can quote?

Any reports of number of active installations?

Those `|` appear in many places. I just checked with Firefox 3.0.7 and IE7. I will make an account on wikipedia and edit the page.

I do not know about statistical usage of FlatPress, but 110mb.com is using it in the 1-clink install section, so this may be a good 3rd party reference.

Also, please check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:MBisanz, FlatPress section.

If I read it right, after improving sources and notability (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:RS and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:N) just open a new section at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_undeletion
