How to: Change FlatPress Blogs Favicon

FlatPress by default has the favicon plugin enabled and displays the default favicon fplogo.gif . To change this icon, you can replace this file with another GIF icon file or modify the plugin to reference a different file. Either approach is simple to implement. However, you first must find or create a favicon for your website. This post identifies resources you can use to create or download a favicon. In addition, instructions are included on how to change your blog sites favicon.

How to: Configure Blog Footer

The Blog Footer for Flatpress is very flexible. It supports both text and HTML. That means you can add web links, website counter code, and other HTML code that is executed on each web page of the blog.

Blog Administrator configures this setting located on the Admin panel > Config and is named Blog footer.

Some Uses for this setting

Adding website links to the bottom of each web page on your blog.
Example:

<a href="//mypcquickref.110mb.com" target="_blank">My PC Quick Reference Guide</a>

Add website statistic collection scripts.

Tip: To paste a multi-line script into this setting, I use the Opera browser. When trying to use Firefox browser it only pastes the first line. You can also use notepad to turn a script into a single line that you can paste in this setting.
